Catholic Education Opportunity Award

The Catholic Education Opportunity Award has been created to celebrate CMH’s 75 years of academic excellence in Catholic Education. We know that many Catholic grade school families are not sending their children to Catholic high school. The purpose of this award is to create pathways of continued access to Catholic education in high school. While financial need isn’t a criterion, we aim to assist families who may have previously thought Catholic high school education was out of reach.

This $5,000 award will renew all four years the student attends CMH, equaling a total value of $20,000.

Strongest consideration will be given to students who identify in the following ways:

  • The first child in their family to attend a Catholic high school
  • Students attending a Catholic grade school
  • Families who are active in their Catholic parish

The application requires an essay submission that can be written individually by parent or student or could be a collaborative effort between parents and students.

Applications for the Catholic Education Opportunity Award for the 2025-26 school are now closed.
