Message from the President

Very Rev. Paul Hartmann '84Very Rev. Paul Hartmann

Welcome to the renewed Catholic Memorial High School Web site!

Whether you visit these pages from near or from far, please know that you are a welcomed member of the CMH family.

Never to miss a teachable moment, consider what the Church once wrote about modern communication:

Man's genius has, with God's help, produced marvellous technical invention… The Church is particularly interested in those which directly touch man's spirit and which have opened up new avenues of easy communication of all kinds of news, of ideas and orientations.

Part of what makes this statement interesting is that it was written in 1963 in a document of the Second Vatican Council.  Oh, how the council fathers would be in awe of the Internet today!

As you move through the pages of this Web site I know that you will not only learn facts about CMH and its numerous programs and many great successes.  But, I pray that you also get a feel for the spirit which permeates the CMH family – past, present, and into the future.

The CMH mission can be summarized in four words: Educate, Guide, Prepare, and Serve.  In the pages you will find the details of how we, with steadfast Catholic faith, fulfill our mission.  More importantly you will glean the values which we dearly hold to so that we can be effective in our mission.

Thank you for your visit.
Thank you for your support of CMH.
Thank you for being, or becoming, a part of the CMH family.

Blessings to you and your family.

Our Lady of Memorial, pray for us!
