Message from Our President
There are numerous ways to summarize the CMH experience. One way is in the four words we use to summarize our mission – at CMH we: Educate, Guide, Prepare, and Serve. Another way is to fully understand our name: We are a place of strong and vivid Catholic faith; We are called to be a living Memorial to those who have sacrificed to the fullest measure for community, country, and culture; and there is no disputing that we are the premiere co-ed Catholic High School in the region for academics, extra-curricular activities, and in the formation of future leaders for the Church and the world.
But the most common and most succinct way that graduates and past parents describe CMH is that we are “a family.” As a family we share joy in our successes, and take responsibility to lift each other up anytime someone stumbles. As a family we strive to ensure that our students grow in knowledge, and our alumni pay it forward by passing on wisdom. As a family we pray together and stay together in the faith that has been passed on to us in Christ.
In the pages of this website you might be looking for information about how CMH will be the best setting for your son or daughter over the next, vitally important, educational years. You will find that by entering into the CMH family your family will joined to a place of formation not only of the mind, but also the heart, and especially the soul.
You may be a graduate looking to reconnect with the family that made so much of a difference in your life. Know that you are already part of a great legacy of over 11,000 graduates spread throughout the world. Maybe you want to keep the inspiring experiences alive with news and updates. Or maybe you want to support the legacy of CMH so that it will remain strong and stable to serve another sixty plus years of graduates.
This website can tell you that CMH has the highest-caliber academics in Southeastern WI. It can show the details of why we have the state’s most recognized drama program and consistently one the state’s top five high school sports programs. You can see why the Cardinal Newman Society, AdvancEd, the International Baccalaureate Organization, CharecterEd.Org, and Project Lead the Way all give CMH their highest honors. You will learn how CMH students are inspiring others when they give thousands of hours of service each year to school, parish, community, and world.
As a graduate myself, I know that all of the highest accreditations and state championships do not tell the deeper story of the CMH family. A family of faith, shared values, and unparalleled accomplishments.
Welcome to Catholic Memorial High School!
